What Constitutes a Rental Period?

Minimum

The shortest rental time period available for each rental item. This time period is item specific and may be hourly, multiple hour, 1/2 day, day, or weekly. Please consult with a sales representative for you specific time requirements.

24-Hour Charge

Items may be kept out up to 24 hours. Metered items are allowed up to 8 hours usage within a 24 hour period. Excess usage will result in additional charges.

Weekends

Rentall is open Saturday for your convenience. Metered items picked up after 4:00 PM on Fridays may be kept until 8:00 AM Monday for a 24 hour rental charge. Metered items picked up prior to 4:00 PM Friday may be kept until 8:00 AM Monday for a 2 day charge. Hour meter usage is enforced. Nonmetered items picked up after 4:00 PM Friday may be kept until 8:00 PM Monday for a 1 day charge. Nonmetered items picked up prior to 4:00 PM Friday may be kept until 8:00 AM Monday for a 2 day charge.

Weekly Rental

Items rented by the week may be kept for 7 consecutive days with 5 days useage. Metered items are allowed 40 hours usage within the 7 days. Excess hours will result in additional charges.

4-week (Monthly) Rental

Items rented by the month may be kept for 28 consecutive days. Metered items are allowed 160 hours usage within the 28 days. Excess hours will result in additional charges.

Long Term and Special Need Rates

Published rental rates are based on normal short-term equipment needs. Through advanced negotiation and guaranteed terms, we will gladly submit special quotes for special uses and long term needs.

Other Policies

Fuel

Customer is responsible for all fuel use. Fuel use will be charged for items not returned with the same fuel levels as when rented.

Damage Waiver

A damage waiver of ten percent (10%) of the total rental is added to all rentals. The damage waiver is not insurance; however, it covers the replacement cost of an item, less a deductible, (usually 25%) in the event a rented item is damaged due to circumstances beyond the lessee's control. A damage waiver is applied to all rentals unless a Certificate of Insurance is issued by your insurance company naming our firm as covered by your policy for any rental equipment damage, loss, or theft. Coverage must be in sufficient amount to fully cover items rented. Certificate must be in our possession prior to the rental. Damage waiver does not cover abuse, neglect, or misuse.

Shifts

All rates in this catalog are based on the equipment being used on a standard 8-hour-per-day shift, 40 hours-per-week, or 160 hours-per-4 weeks. Double or triple shift use will be charged accordingly.

Delivery and Pickup

We will deliver and set up anywhere. Rates vary according to location, weight, size, and type of equipment requested. Special quotes may include these services.
